Earrings too difficult to open

My wife loved the earrings but it took 2 pairs of pliers to remove them on Xmas night from my wife’s ears . They are unfathomably tight to remove and this needs to be addressed. I suggest you spend at least 30 mins opening and closing them to loosen them off before trying to wear
